Apparently, the elections aren’t over. My cake is on the ballot for Best Spooky/Halloween Cake 2010, and I need your votes! I have an endorsement: ten out of ten sexy, Tichu-playing librarians recommend you vote for my cake. This is no random, fabricated statistic, mind you. These are hard facts, taken directly from the very source of the endorsement itself. As proof, here is a score sheet from last Friday night’s Tichu game, where I heard with my very own ears from the very sexy lips of some very sexy librarians, that you should vote for my cake:
You can now vote for my cake with confidence, knowing that your valued vote will be met with the approval of sexy librarians the world over.
Here are some photos of the cake (I’ve been calling it “my” cake, but it was actually Jim’s and Will’s Happy Boo-day Cake):
In order to vote in the contest you will need to be registered and logged in at CakeCentral.com. Registration is free and simple. The voting period is from November 9 through 15. To view the entries, go to CakeCentral.com then click on the link at the top labeled Cake Contests! Then click on the link to View all spooky/Halloween cake contest entries. Unfortunately, you will need to peruse all the cakes until you see a thumbnail image of my cake. Click on the thumbnail image in order to vote. Alternately, to save you some time, here is a link directly to my cake at CakeCentral.com (I hope it works): Vote for Jim’s and Will’s Happy Boo-day Cake! Remember though, in order to vote (anytime between November 9 and 15), you will need to be registered and logged in. You will find instructions for voting at the website, but let me simplify it for you:
GIVE MY CAKE 5 STARS!!!!
Sorry, I didn’t mean to yell….
Each star is equivalent to one vote, so the most votes each voter can give any single entry is 5.
Thanks, everybody, for your votes. You want to do what the sexy librarians want from you, don’t you?
